After five years of dedicated leadership, our CEO, Bob Fraser, will be retiring at the end of August 2025.
Since joining Craighalbert in 2019, Bob has been an incredible asset to the Centre, steering us through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and leading us into a period of growth and innovation. His passion and commitment to supporting children and families has left a lasting impact.

Reflecting on his time at Craighalbert, Bob shared:
"I love this job and the work of the Centre. As any of my friends and family will tell you, when asked about work, I always say, ‘it is the best job I have ever had.’ I believe the Centre is thriving and in great shape to hand over the leadership to someone new who will take it to the next level. I look forward to spending more time with my family, especially my grandchildren and foster children."
Recruiting the Next Leader
As we work to find our next leader, the emphasis will be on identifying someone who embodies the Centre's mission and values.
We are looking for a values-led, strategic leader with the vision to guide the Centre through its next phase of development. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a real and lasting difference to lives across Scotland.
